Qiana Terzin combines clinical expertise with a unique ability to tune into the emotional undercurrents that often go unspoken. While grounded in evidence-based practice, she is known for recognizing what clients may struggle to put into words; the patterns, emotions, and energy beneath the surface.
Her work is rooted in the belief that healing happens when people feel genuinely seen. Clients often describe her as perceptive, direct, compassionate, and deeply present. Whether supporting individuals through trauma, life transitions, burnout, relationship challenges, or personal growth, Qiana creates a space where authenticity is welcomed and vulnerability is met with respect.
Qiana has a LLMSW and loves to learn. She has a Reiki Master Certification as well as an End of Life Doula Certification. She is actively involved in CrossFit, the aerial arts and loves cats. She has a future goal of running cat therapy.
Qiana believes that healing is not simply about overcoming difficulties, it's about reconnecting with yourself. Her approach blends evidence-based psychotherapy practices with intuition, authenticity, and a deep respect for each person's unique story. She understands that behind every behavior is a need, behind every crisis is a person, and behind every person is the capacity for growth.
Qiana is highly attuned to the emotional energy people bring into a space, often recognizing subtle shifts in mood, behavior, and interpersonal dynamics before they are fully expressed. This awareness, combined with strong clinical judgment and crisis intervention skills, allows her to connect with clients in a way that feels genuine, supportive, and deeply human. She understands that every person carries a story shaped by experiences, resilience, and survival. Her strength lies in helping people connect the dots between where they've been, where they are, and where they want to go. She is passionate about empowering others to trust themselves, reclaim their voice, and build lives that align with their values.
Outside of her clinical role, Qiana is a lifelong observer of human behavior and connection. She believes that intuition and professional skills can coexist, allowing her to engage with clients in a way that is both clinically informed and deeply human. Known for her strong presence, keen insight, and ability to read the emotional atmosphere of a room, Qiana strives to help others feel less alone, more understood, and more connected to themselves. This helps her foster meaningful therapeutic and lasting change.
Personal Philosophy
"In moments of crisis, people don't just need solutions, they need someone who can see beyond the chaos, recognize their strength, and help them find their way back to themselves."
