Hamdoon Alahmedi is a Limited Licensed Master Social Worker who enjoys working with children, adolescents, and adults navigating anxiety, depression, trauma, low self-esteem, relationship challenges, life transitions, and feelings of being stuck.
He strives to create a therapy space where clients feel understood, respected, and supported as they begin to make sense of their experiences and move toward meaningful change.
Hamdoon’s approach is warm, person-centered, strength-based, and collaborative. He believes therapy works best when clients feel safe enough to be honest, curious, and open to growth. When helpful, he incorporates Cognitive Behavioral Therapy techniques to help clients identify patterns in thoughts, emotions, and behaviors, build coping skills, and develop practical strategies for everyday life.
Hamdoon has experience supporting children, adults, and families, including work with autism-related needs, behavioral concerns, emotional regulation, and caregiver collaboration. He is passionate about helping clients build confidence, self-awareness, emotional resilience, and a healthier relationship with themselves and others.
